The Bag

It's been a busy old day - I've caught up with the folks, been to the transport museum and currently have a raspberry and apple Candy Cake from the shop of the same name in Covent Garden waiting to be devoured alongside a cup of tea.

In the meantime I thought I'd share with you my 'crafting on the road', the handles for a bag I have been knitting. It's nearly complete, I just need to buy some lining fabric and wadding for making it up. If anyone has any idea where I can find some cheap online supplies of either, please let me know as I'm not very knowledgable about fabrics or what they should cost!
This is my first ever attempt at blogging from my iPhone, so I hope this works!

  1. Hi there.
Have followed your blog for ages so interesting that u feel the need for support too. Makes me feel better!!! Enjoy Shim's classes so this one should be a brilliant inspiration as always. I love your LOs and honesty about life and work. Having given up a career in teaching due to stress I appreciate the increased pressure with a promotion. Make sure u get that free time slotted in for sue and enjoy 1/2 term. All set for Emma in 30 minutes :))

  2. Ooh, coincidence. I was in the transport museum this weekend too (although I spent more time in the gift shop than the actual museum). See you in class.

  3. I'm doing Shims class too. I may actually start regular blogging!
Knitting looks good - nice colour. I have started a green scarf - the 'ingredients' cost over £30 so I could have bought 3 for that money!
